Pet Costume Contest: 2nd Annual Trick or Treat Them Well

Wellness Pet Company’s 2nd Annual #TrickorTreatThemWell Costume Contest: Winners Announced

Wellness Pet Company celebrated Halloween this year with our 2nd Annual #TrickorTreatThemWell Costume Contest. We invited pet parents to submit photos of their furry companions in creative, clever, and spooky costumes—and we received many delightful entries that showcased how much fun the season can be for pets and their people.

Thank you to everyone who submitted their pawesome photos. We loved seeing the imagination, effort, and personality behind each costume. After reviewing the entries, we’re excited to announce the winners in each category. Each winner will receive a spooktacular prize as a token of our appreciation for joining the fun and sharing the Halloween spirit with the Wellness Pet community.

Our winners displayed a wonderful mix of creativity, humor, and heart. From coordinated duos to clever solo looks, each winning entry captured what we love most about dressing up pets: it brings people together, provides memorable moments, and highlights the special bond between pets and their families.

We chose winners across three categories—Dog, Cat, and Pet & Pet Parent—to celebrate a range of pet personalities and costume styles. The Dog category recognized Birdie & Bogey for their charming Peaky Barkers ensemble, which showed great teamwork and costume flair. In the Cat category, Bongo earned recognition with a cheeky costume titled “Revenge on last year’s lobster costume,” a playful nod to past Halloween memories. For the Pet & Pet Parent category, Lynn Guerrero and dogs Dodger & Mochi impressed our judges with a coordinated In-N-Out Burger theme that was both inventive and delightfully on brand for a pet-and-owner team.

We’re grateful to everyone who participated. Your submissions made this contest a joyful celebration of pets, costumes, and community. Even if you didn’t win this year, your photos helped brighten our feeds and reminded us why we look forward to Halloween with our animals. Please keep sharing your moments—your creativity inspires others and helps strengthen our pet-loving community.

Plans are already underway for next year’s contest, and we can’t wait to see what you’ll dream up next. Whether you favor elaborate handmade costumes, funny matching outfits, or simple accessories that showcase your pet’s personality, the contest is an opportunity to celebrate your companion and have some seasonal fun together.

If you’re planning costumes for future events, remember to prioritize comfort and safety: choose breathable fabrics, make sure costumes don’t restrict movement or vision, and supervise pets while they wear outfits. A happy, comfortable pet makes for the best photos and the best memories.

Congratulations again to all the winners and heartfelt thanks to everyone who entered. We’re already looking forward to seeing more creativity in next year’s #TrickorTreatThemWell Costume Contest—until then, keep treating your pets well and enjoy every wag, purr, and playful moment.
