Wellness Pet Company celebrated Halloween with our very first #TrickorTreatThemWell Costume Contest, inviting pet parents to share photos of their furry companions in festive attire. We received a wonderful collection of creative entries from across the community, showcasing imaginative pet costumes, careful craftsmanship, and lots of personality. Our team was delighted to see so many pets and their families join in the fun — the creativity, care, and seasonal spirit made judging both joyful and challenging.
Thank you to everyone who entered the Halloween pet costume contest. Each submission helped make this inaugural event a success. We were impressed by the variety of ideas, the attention to pet comfort, and the quality of photos that captured both the costumes and the personalities behind them. After careful consideration, we selected winners in three categories: Dog, Cat, and Pet & Pet Parent. Each winner will receive a spooktacular prize in recognition of their creativity and presentation.
Choosing winners was no easy task. Our judging panel prioritized creativity of concept, safe and comfortable costume design for the animal, photographic composition, and how well the costume captured the spirit of the season. Many entries stood out for craftsmanship and mood, from classic Halloween motifs to original, humorous ensembles. We appreciate everyone who participated and shared their pets with us — every photo brightened the season.
Dog Winner: “The Carousel Horse”
Starring Frost
This charming entry captured both whimsy and careful costume construction. “The Carousel Horse” transformed Frost into a carousel-themed companion, complete with details that read clearly in the photo and allowed Frost to remain comfortable and relaxed. The contrast between the costume’s playful design and Frost’s calm expression made for a memorable image that embodies the joyful spirit of our Halloween pet costume contest.
Cat: “Did Someone Order a Banana Split?”
Starring Twiggy
Twiggy’s banana split costume stood out for its humor and delightful execution. Cat costumes must balance charm with feline comfort, and this entry struck that balance. The costume’s recognizable theme, combined with Twiggy’s expressive face and the clear photographic framing, made this submission a favorite among judges looking for creativity and pet wellbeing in the Halloween pet costume contest.
Pet and Pet Parent: Shark Attack
Starring Jessica and Indio
Our Pet and Pet Parent category celebrates coordinated costumes and the bond between pets and their people. Jessica and Indio’s “Shark Attack” entry combined a clever concept with great teamwork, producing a photo that captures a playful moment and strong visual storytelling. Coordinated outfits like this are a wonderful way to include pet parents in Halloween festivities while keeping the pet’s comfort top of mind.
